Jehovah's Witnesses (Fred Franz 1975 Discourse) Video
Fred Franz was the fourth president of the Watchtower Bible & tract society of the Jehovah´s witnesses. He was the responsible of teaching a "new light" given by god to his "Government body" in New York by 1966 announcing the Armagedon for 1975, with the destruction of Babylon the Great and the great harlot.
Finally, this prophecy was proven false as other false prophecies given in the past, by Russell for Armagedon for 1914 and Joseph Rutherford for Armagedon for 1925.

John 3:18- Whoever ...
John 3:18- Whoever believes. I agree. Those who truly believe, will never fall away. As John says in 1John 2:19 that those who fall away, show they were NEVER saved. Some people will 'believe', but it is not true belief. Scripture never says that those "chosen" to believe, will fall away. Paul said, in Romans 8, that those whom God foreknew(loved beforehand), he also predestined,? and those whom He predestined, He called(Notice He doesnt call everyone?), those who he called he justified.
John 3:18 Whoever ...
John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
8:12...Jesus spoke ..., saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
*
Do u know the verse that says 'some will fall away from the? truth'? Y would God allow this 2 happen if they were 'chosen" by God 2 believe in Christ as Savior?
I never said man ...
I never said man does not make a choice. But I believe that "choice" that man makes, is predetermined, as scripture clearly says. How would I explain John 3:17, 18? In what way? It says God didnt send the son to condemn the world, but to save it. Men from every nation, tribe, and tongue. Not everyone who ever lived. ? Go back to verses 7-8, and you will see, the Spirit makes alive whom He wills, just as the wind comes and goes where it pleases.
I see you cited ...
I see you cited Acts 13:48 as a verse to show that salvation isn't a choice in your? eyes, yet I do wonder how you would explain John 3:17,18?
"The ppl that put ...
"The ppl that put Jesus to death were given the opportunity to repent of their evil deeds. " Thats not the point. All people are commanded to repent and believe. But who will? Only those who were ordained to believe. Acts 13:48. Using Judas is a strawman. He was Predestined to do what he did. Hence the name, "son of? perdition".
The ppl that put ...
The ppl that put Jesus to death were given the opportunity to repent of their evil deeds. This includes the Jews that put Jesus to death by the Romans, who were also given the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Savior.
Judas isn't the same as most of them because he literally walked w/Jesus for some time? & knew Jesus intimately. Not every1 had that relationship w/Jesus. Plus Judas had the 10 commandments. 1 of which explicitly said 'do not bear false witness'. Did Judas int lie about Jesus?
So glad I left this ...
So glad I left this cult? in the year 2000!
This is the point I ...
This is the point I am making! Those people were never "in the faith". And you just said in your last comments, that you agree with John, whom I quoted. So, a true? believer, will not lose his salvation, or fall away. For if they do, it just shows, they were never really saved.
No I don't disagree ...
No I don't disagree with John, he's saying when they went out from us they proved to be false(not of us), if they were true(of us) they would? have continued with us.
"I'm srry i'm not ...
"I'm srry i'm not trying to start an argument but if someone walked with Jesus they were for a time in the faith, they became apostate." Well then you deny the clear teaching of scripture. Thats all there is to it. 1John 2:19- They went out from us(those who use to walk with us), but they were NOT OF US; For if they had been OF US, THEY WOULD HAVE CONTINUED WITH US. But they went? out, that it might become plain that they all ARE NOT OF US! Apparently John disagrees with you.
Dictionaries are ...
Dictionaries are written by linguistic scholars I honestly admit i'm not strong in new greek(koine) or hebrew so I go to english then compare with my limited knowledge of hebrew and greek. God's judgment is never evil? it's always just when he acts out, his qualities are always in perfect harmony for he said so through a man in the bible( Deuteronomy 32:3-4 ). I'm srry i'm not trying to start an argument but if someone walked with Jesus they were for a time in the faith, they became apostate.
Who do you think ...
Who do you think brought about the flood? Was that not evil? Who? brought about the crucifixion? Did not the soldiers and people who did this sin? God brought that about! No, Judas was never saved. He was a false convert. Jesus said, you would know true believers, by their fruit. Scripture says, that many believed in Jesus for a time. But later, they quit walking with him. They were NOT saved. Suggestion. I wouldnt use Merriams dictionary to define biblical terms.
Yes, I recall now: ...
Yes, I recall now: Mt 12:31 is the unforgivable sin. Modals, trini's, tertullis.. put that aside for now. You said that Jesus' death paid for Adams sin. If this is true, then how do you fit in 1 Cor. 15-4 "Christ died for OUR sins..."? Jn 3:16, 1 Jn 5:13? Your statment that Jesus just died ONLY for? Adams sin is refering to a book written by the WTS called You Can Live Forever in Paradise On Earth", and is in error since as you can see, it does not reflect the bible accuratley.
@Haukman66: I ...
@Haukman66: I don't believe God plans evil for people nor does he create it. Does he uses it to chaste? Maybe but a holy holy holy God doesn't create unholy. You say Judas was chosen as a? disciple and son of perdition? So which is it was he in the faith before he fell or not? Hmmm becoming the son of hell according to merriam-websters dictionary does not mean he wasn't part of the faith, he fell and was a close associate with Christ, love forgives and believes all things but is not blind/
So you believe God ...
So you believe God changes his mind? Scripture affirms, that God chastens his children, as a father does a son.(Hebrews). This does not mean you lose salvation. Nothing can separate us(christians) from the love of God. Jesus death on the cross paid for all sins, past, present and future for the believer. Yes Judas was chosen as a disciple, but he was also? chosen as the Son of perdition. Satan was all part of Gods plan from the beginning.
@Haukman66: I agree ...
@Haukman66: I agree with the majority of your posts I believe i'm also forgiven but I know I can at times disappoint them both just like a child can be forgiven by the parents and yet break their rules a few days later, sin is breaking god's laws that's? what it really is. Judas was chosen as one of the twelve at some point before betraying Jesus he was part of the faith. Seems you associate being part of the faith as being saved? Question was Satan part of the truth before he fell?
"One can fall out ...
"One can fall out of salvation proof of that is Judas and others." What? makes you think that Judas was "saved" at any point? Scripture calls him the son of perdition. He was destined for what his role was. And John says in 1 John 2:19 that those who depart from the faith, are only showing they were NEVER of the faith to begin with. Jesus in John 7 says, "I NEVER knew you". Not, "I knew you once, but now I dont".
I dont think I am infallible. I just know I am forgiven!
@Haukman66: One can ...
@Haukman66: One can fall out of salvation proof of that is Judas and others. The judgment hasn't occurred yet and I don't want to pretend i'm infallible you can if you want. I believe Jesus is God but not equal to the father. For instance Jesus is shown have a God in Revelation 3:12 and John 20:17. Jesus doesn't have some titles that the father has such as God of Gods and almighty. A powerful ruler Jesus is which is actually? the fourth definition of God in merriam-webster john 10:34 quotes psa
"I am currently ...
"I am currently saved at the moment." Sorry to break the news to you friend, but people are only saved? once. So to say, you are "saved at the moment", would mean, yes you are saved for eternity. But I have to tell you also, if you deny Jesus as God, or the Trinity, you have not the Father, and are NOT saved.
Jesus was both God ...
Jesus was both God and created, I can send you the link for that one and some believe Mary was literally the mother of God hence catholicisms teaching. You say I brake WTS rules yet they keep telling me to make the truth my own so which one is it? Whenever they're? counsel contradicts it's a conscience matter to me and when they admit that they contradict they make things conscience matters such as blood fragments and forms of bloodless surgery. I am currently saved at the moment.
@thebibleanswerman1 ...
@thebibleanswerman1: Jesus is Jehovah is a modalist statement, Your belief what be? better explained by saying Jesus is God the son etc. But saying Jesus is Jehovah is a modalist statement used to say Jesus is his own father etc. Unforgivable sin is blaspheming against the holy spirit is one of the few unforgivable sins (Matthew 12:31). I don't know how arian I am I just don't fully follow arius just like you don't follow all the trinitarian church leaders for instance tertullian believed cont..
I'm a Trinitarian: ...
I'm a Trinitarian: 3 persons in one God. When did I ever promote modalism? Exaclty what is this "unforgivable sin"? Where is it in the bible? I didn't know what an Arian was; had to look it up-pretty much like a JW. If your not 100% arian and in another post you wrote your are a free-minded JW (which brakes WTS rules so to? the WTS your not a JW) I guess you believe what ever you want which is fine with me. Are you saved? TBAM
@thebibleanswerman1 ...
@thebibleanswerman1: Cool collegiate bible student fancy xd, I said two days ago that I was an unbaptized JW and not baptized. I believe Jesus death was the ransom that paid Adam's? sin and I believe they are commands that still must be followed since there's unforgivable sin. I am arian but don't follow arius 100%, I believe Jesus has co-rulers as he isn't the only one that Judges the whole world(1 Corinthians 6:2) that's what I believe now you say your trinitarian but you promote modalism why?
Hi.I believe in the ...
Hi.I believe in the Trinity (Trinitarian). I am an non-denominational Christian (don't like labels), in a personal RELATIONSHIP with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ (no religion, cult or control). He saved me 25 years ago. I? am a student of Theology enrolled at Northern California Bible College. Many things I know. Many things I don't and many things I'm still learning. That sums it up for me. What about you? I asked perviously are you a JW? What are your beliefs? TBAM
@thebibleanswerman1 ...
@thebibleanswerman1: First I would like to know your belief system so I know what? i'm arguing against are you modalist or trinitarian?
The WTS view of 1 ...
The WTS view of 1 Cor 15:20-28 is completely distorted (another topic for another time). I DO believe Jesus IS Jehovah; no confusion and its very simple to? prove with no fancy "language". This can be proven undeniably in just 4 easy versus (although there are many, many others). We can get to the control issue in a later. Let's take it one topic at a time. Would you like for me to show you that Jesus is Jehovah?
I'm also a JW yes ...
I'm also a JW yes but pretty free minded and not baptized if i'm here obviously.?
@thebibleanswerman1 ...
@thebibleanswerman1: Jesus is God only in the sense he rules as king until the end? of the 1,000 year reign(1 Corinthians 15:20-28) and he has his fathers nature which is spirit. When you say he's also God(Jehovah) do you believe they're the same person and if not why use such language to confuse people? You say a religion controls yet when you look up the definition that's what the apostles did after Jesus went home. They had congregations all over and councils in letters to "control"
Following Jesus is ...
Following Jesus is both a religion and a cult? That doesn't even make sense. It's like me saying to you "please hand? me the little small screwdriver". Yes, Jesus founded Christianity because he was the Mesiah, but he IS also God (Jehovah); he is both God AND man. He never "founded" the Apostles. They followed him WILLINGLY because the KNEW who he was. Cults and religions CONTROL. A RELATIONSHIP with Jesus sets us free (no cult/religion) control and no fanatics. Are you a JW?
@thebibleanswerman1 ...
@thebibleanswerman1: Be honest and read the definitions for those three words(which were? defined by linguistic scholars) and tell me if you don't meet the criteria of any of those definitions. I'm saying following Jesus is both a religion and a cult. He founded Christianity with the apostles(religious leader and therefore not Jehovah) and if you look up cult it's the same definition as religion, some dictionaries classify cult as a group of fanatical people. Are you fanatical of Jesus?
